OUR STRUCTURE

NIDOE HQ

NIDOE has its headquarters in London and is responsible for maintaining contact with the Nigerian government, Nigerian organisations and NIDO Americas.

NIDOE HQ is administered by an Executive Director. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, appointed from amongst the organisation’s members by members at the General Meeting. Trustees shall be accomplished Nigerians who are fit and proper persons and have acquired experience in their respective fields. The Board reflects a variety of backgrounds, competence and perspectives, and aims to be representative of the spread of Nigerians in Europe. No Trustee is entitled to any remuneration from NIDOE in connection with his/her office as a Trustee or otherwise.

CHAPTERS

NIDOE has seventeen Chapters in the following countries:

United Kingdom (2 Chapters), France, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, Austria, Belgium, Russian Federation, Finland, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey.

Each Chapter has a Regional Executive Committee.

NIDOE Chapters are responsible for establishing and maintaining close liaison with their host country governments and other organisations in the host country. The Chapters are the on-the-spot source for the primary screening for potential Technical Committee members and/or for overseas consultancy work. The Chapters also run country programs and workshops on topical issues relevant to Nigeria's aspirations and developmental process.
